This book is about an eleven year old girl named Cornelia. Cornelia's mother is never at home because she's always on tour. One day Virginia Somerset moves in next door to Cornelia. Virginia's dog, Mister Kinyatta, runs to Cornelia, Cornelia is introduced to Virginia and they become intstant friends. Virginia tells Cornelia stories about her sister's travels in exchange for some company. When Cornelia's mom gets back from tour Cornelia thinks her mother ruined her friendship with Virginia. This is a great read and I would suggest it for anyone!
